Evan Andrae Fountain, MBA | Operations Director | Boeing

Tenacious, dedicated, and hard-working, Evan Andrae Fountain, MBA has forged an accomplished career as a leader, businessman, and developer of new technologies. He has excelled since 2018 as a program quality manager at Boeing, where he works in compliance and aerospace and process improvement—and further finds success in his ability to relate to others. He was previously active at the company as a temporary multi-family quality manager for the P-8 Poseidon aircraft from 2015 to 2018 and a quality assurance investigator and an internal auditor from 2011 to 2018. Prior to these appointments, he was active as a junior manufacturing associate at Safran Electronics & Defense, Avionics USA LLC, and previously as a body technician at American Service Center and an electronic specialist at Toyota North America.

Originally gravitating toward the auto industry with aspirations of joining a team’s engineering department in Formula 1, Mr. Fountain earned an Associate of Applied Science in autobody/collision and repair technology from Universal Technical Institute in 2007. Amid his burgeoning career in the field, he slowly transitioned into aerospace and became interested in the leadership side of organizations. While pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from the City University of Seattle, he had the opportunity through Howard University to become a volunteer in the country of Colombia, helping undergraduates with business plans in order to boost Afro-Colombians and Indigenous communities and the gross domestic product of the country as a whole. It was a significant experience for him as he realized he could utilize business to help not only enterprises and business entities but people in general.

Eventually equipped with a bachelor’s degree, a postgraduate diploma in Global Health Diplomacy from the University of Oxford, and an Executive MBA in management, marketing, and related support services from Howard University, in addition to numerous business certificates, Mr. Fountain has propelled himself as an impactful global citizen—from business proposals to community outreach. He has been a guest speaker for the Washington Alliance for Better Schools, a business mentor, and a consultant for the Howard University School of Business, and actively donates food to the homeless population during holidays.

In addition, Mr. Fountain started Fountain Capital Holdings, an LLC company through which he’s developing a peer-to-peer application whose primary mission is to alleviate a common roadblock in the food operator and marketplace industries through geo-tracking and location analytics. He’s in the process of obtaining more funding and tech-partnership resources by its completion. In general, he hopes to adjust his career path to be more involved in advancing technology as he’s fascinated with the vastness and diversity of the industry.
